ABOUT POPPY

Poppy Letterpress was founded by Louise Redman in 2007. Possibly the most exciting part of being engaged for Louise was the wedding invitations. Settling fairly quicky on letterpress invitations, Louise found it difficult to find affordable stationery. So she set about to produce her own. While printing her wedding set, Louise fell in love with the process of letterpress, and it’s since consumed almost every minute of each of her days.

Louise graduated with a Bachelor of Graphic Design at the University of Canberra in 2002 and has worked in several studios as a graphic designer, photographer and illustrator. Her professional focus was on publication design, typography, printing and paper. Together with her husband Adrian, the two now share much joy in designing and printing for other soon to be newlywed couples.
